Colombia's strong CONMEBOL qualifying campaign--they finished second, just two points behind Argentina--created plenty of optimism for a strong showing in Brazil, but a torn ACL in January for Radamel Falacao proved a difficult blow for Jose Pekerman's side. The striker had scored nine goals in qualifying, leading a squad that also includes the impressive Juan Cuadrado, Teo Gutierrez and James Rodriguez. Falcao's absence will surely be felt, but a result here would see Colombia's confidence boosted about their chances to advance from Group C in their first World Cup appearance since 1998.
Greece enter another major international tournament as underdogs, and they'll need a result here if they want any chance at advancing to the knockout stages. It won't be pretty if they do get a result, but as they've shown in the past, they're capable of doing what's necessary to scrape by.
