Following earlier reports that Yevhen Konoplyanka had successfully undergone a medical while Liverpool, Dnipro, and the player's representatives continued to work on a deal that would bring him to Anfield, sources in Ukraine and Russia are now claiming the deal is complete.
After suggestions Dnipro's owner was reluctant to let the player go and the two clubs disagreed over a payment structure, Ukraine's Tribuna and Football News Network as well as Russia 24 are all claiming the Ukrainian club have agreed to sell and personal terms have been ironed out.
If the reports are true, the final fee would be just over £16M—or €20M—and Konoplyanka would arrive at Anfield on just shy of £60k a week wages. Adding on the various fees to the player's representatives is likely to push the total cost spent on bringing him to England closer to £20M.
There is as yet no sign of confirmation from the Liverpool side, but with two hours left before the window closes, at least fans won't have long to wait to find out how this particular transfer story ends.
