Liverpool remain adamant that no first team players are set to leave the club today, but the slow drip of youth players headed out on loan continued with official confirmation of Michael Ngoo heading to Walsall for the rest of the season. The 21-year-old joins the league one side after spending time at Yeovil earlier in the season.
Despite impressing for the U21's in recent weeks, few see Ngoo as being in the club's long term plans, and after the permanent departure of Adam Morgan earlier in the month it wouldn't have been surprising to see Ngoo leave for good. Instead, it's a third loan spell for the striker after Yeovil and, last season, Scottish side Hearts.
Ngoo has yet to make a first team appearance for Liverpool. He has made three appearances for England at the U20 level after scoring three goals in six appearances at the U19 level.
