Rumour Mongering: Suso to AC Milan

Of all Liverpool's potential outgoings, the one many fans will be most interested in is Suso. The young Spaniard is expected to leave—the big question is if it will be on loan or more permanently.

There isn't much going on for Liverpool fans to keep track of this deadline day, with a potential loan to Sunderland for Sebastian Coates and the possibility of Fabio Borini finally completing his move and joining the defender at the Black Cats on a permanent deal about as exciting as it gets. Another player to keep an eye on, though, is 20-year-old attacking midfielder Suso.

The Spaniard is on the fringes of Liverpool's first team and despite his clear promise, there have been multiple rumours linking him with a move away from Anfield that have surfaced throughout the summer. Porto was a rumoured option early, as was Sevilla, and in both cases there were were conflicting reports over whether the proposed deals were to be loan moves or permanent transfers.

Now, AC Milan are rumoured to have proposed a loan deal with an option to buy the player at the end of the season should he impress in Italy. Liverpool are believed to still see Suso as am important player for the future, but inevitably when such rumours surrounding him come up they have been with the suggestion that the player himself may be the one seeking a more permanent deal.

Whatever the reality of the situation is, with the player left out of the matchday squad for the first three league games, one thing that seem fairly likely is that Suso will end the day somewhere other than Liverpool. The only real questions are where he lands and what sort of deal it is, from simple loan to something convoluted enough to rival Liverpool's Javier Manquillo deal.

Following the £16M deal to send Mario Balotelli to Liverpool, Milan have also been linked with a potential loan with an option to buy move for Fabio Borini.
