With Liverpool arriving in Boston this afternoon to settle into their US tour, there were questions about whether or not their transfer activity would suffer as a result of their travels. That doesn't look to be the case, as news broke earlier in the day that Dejan Lovren could be joining the team as early as the next few days, and now further reports that Loic Remy is set for a medical with Divock Origi, the Lille and Belgium striker, possibly to follow in a week that will be busy both on and off the pitch.
Loic Remy is due to fly to Boston tomorrow to undergo a medical ahead of an £8m move to Liverpool.

Divock Origi has told Liverpool he wants to join them and could also travel to Boston for a medical later this week.

That means that Liverpool could very well end the week having signed seven different players in this summer's transfer window; Rickie Lambert, Emre Can, Adam Lallana, and Lazar Markovic were all announced prior to the start of Liverpool's preseason, and now they could be looking at four further signings as their four-match US tour gets underway. Each of the four earlier signings are expected to play some part over the next week and a half, though there were some questions about Can's availability after he came off on twenty minutes in the 2-1 win over Preston.
All signs point to Liverpool sticking to the plan concerning the two mentioned here, with Remy lined up as an immediate impact signing and Origi brought aboard with a longer-term view and a loan back to Lille likely.
