Exactly what we needed!
Liverpool were nursing a 1-0 lead late in the first half. The Reds were bossing the game, as per usual, but their advantage was still slim.
And then Sadio Mané was all like, “yo, guys, we need some insurance. Should I get us some insurance? I don’t mind. Yeah, I’ll just go ahead and do that.”
The home side won the ball back in their own box and launched a quick counterattack. Roberto Firmino charged up the middle of the park while Arsenal scrambled to recover. Before they could, Bobby Firm sent a ball through for Sadio Mané on the left. Sadio cut into the box from the side and hit a gorgeous curling shot.
Ugh. So good. So so good.
Liverpool are now up 2-0 at halftime.
