Watch: Firmino Converts A Penalty To Bring Liverpool Level

Good Ol’ Bobby Firm!

In the opening minutes of the second half, LFC Twitter had grown dark. The Reds still trailed Watford 2-1 and the team just wasn’t quite jelling. It seemed like their team chemistry was off, and they were mostly holding out for individual brilliance or some other intervention to save them.

Ten minutes into the half, Liverpool got their something.

Mohamed Salah was brought down in the box by an onrushing Heurelho Gomes. The referee awarded a penalty. Roberto Firmino stepped up to take it. And the Liverpool #9 buried it in the far corner, cool as you like.

Liverpool were level with Watford at 2-2. And it wouldn’t be long before they took the lead for the first time in the game.
