Watch: Firmino’s Close-Range Finish Makes It Three For The Reds

Not bad not bad not bad!

Welp!

Just a few minutes after Philippe Coutinho made it 2-0 for Liverpool over Spartak Moscow, his Brazilian compatriot Roberto Firmino gave his team a third.

At the end of another counterattack, Sadio Mane tried to hit a cross to a teammate at the far post. The ball hit a Spartak defender and veered off-course. But Firmino was lurking nearby, and the ball ended up landing at his feet. Before the defenders and the goalkeeper could realize what was happening, Bobby Firm had already hit his shot, sending the ball sailing into the back of the net.

That makes it 3-0 for Liverpool after just 20 minutes. A lot can happen yet in this game, obviously, but it’s looking more and more like Liverpool are going to end up topping the group en route to the knockout stages.
