Watch: Mohamed Salah breaks the deadlock against Everton

Majestic!!!!!!!!

My friends.

Mohamed Salah is very good.

With time ticking down in the first half of Liverpool’s snow-kissed clash with Everton, Liverpool were searching for a breakthrough. Patient build-up play, crosses, set pieces— none of it was getting past the brick wall that Big Sam had built. We were starting to mull the possibility of a 0-0 score at halftime.

But we have been spared such indignities because, as stated previously, Mohamed Salah is very good.

He collected the ball on the right edge of the box. He spun around to get past the defender pressing into his back, then shimmied past another defender trying to pull him down. Finally, he used Ashley Williams’ to shield himself as he teed up his shot, which sailed past the keeper and into the back of the net.

We’re just coming up on halftime now and Liverpool are up 1-0. It’s no less than we deserve. But Salah? We are not worthy of Salah.
