Have I mentioned how much I love Mohamed Salah? Because I do. I really, really do.
With Liverpool having settled into a rhythm up 3-1 late in their clash with West Ham, it seemed like they might just try to see things out. A two-goal lead is good enough for three points, after all.
But Mo Salah wasn’t satisfied. After receiving the ball unmarked in the box, Salah took his time and teed up his shot. With no pressure and Joe Hart having an existential crisis, Salah hit a shot hard and low, sliding past Hart and nestling into the net just inside the far post.
Liverpool are up 4-1 with about 10 minutes to go, and at this point it’s hard to imagine a dramatic reversal of fortune taking place.
