Liverpool aren’t letting this one slip away easy!
After a tepid start to the second half, the Reds put themselves in a spot of trouble by surrendering a goal and letting West Ham cut the lead down to one. But it wouldn’t stay that way for long!
Not even a minute after West Ham got on the board, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain got the ball at the end of a counterattack and hit a shot at the far post. Joe Hart saved it, but Ox managed to catch the ball on the rebound and try again. This time there was no stopping it, and AOC made it 3-1 to Liverpool.
Still some work to do and likely some adjustments to be made. But Liverpool don’t look like they’re going to surrender meekly. Not today.
