Watch: Mane And Firmino Combine To Put Liverpool Up By Three

Ahhhhh!!!

What! What! Whaaaaaat!!!!!!

This is another one of those days where I can’t post the goals fast enough!

Minutes after Sadio Mane put Liverpool up 2-0 over Sevilla in the Champions League, he played a crucial role in goal #3.

After leading the charge in a blistering counter-attack and getting the ball in the box, Mane hit a shot toward goal about 12 yards from the line. The Sevilla keeper blocked the shot, but the parried ball ended up right at the feet of Roberto Firmino, who was flying in formation with Mane on the counter-attack. With an empty goal gaping before him, Bobby Firm took a deep breath and rolled the ball over the line from point-blank range.

Liverpool are up 3-0 now just past the half-hour mark. You never want to speak to soon, but it’s hard to see Sevilla catching up with the Reds now.
