Oh my god?????
Literally as soon as I posted video of Mohamed Salah’s first goal, he gets his second.
With the beginnings of an attack gathering, Philippe Coutinho got the ball about 30 yards from goal. Maybe a bit more. Seeing a gap in Southampton’s defense, Coutinho hit a pass into the box.
Mohamed Salah spotted his opportunity and slipped his defender before the poor guy knew what was happening. He latched onto the ball and caught everyone off-guard, getting himself alone on goal against a panicking Fraser Forster. The finish was clean and calm.
Salah, and Liverpool, now have two goals on the day and the Reds are in a strong position heading into halftime.
