Liverpool have opened the second half of their International Champions Cup friendly with Barcelona looking like a team possessed. Just three minutes into the half, Liverpool have scored twice. The first coming from a Jordan Henderson (possible Javier Mascherano own goal) tap-in.
It was great work by Sadio Mane and Divock Origi to get free down the right. The former played a dangerous ball into the center for Henderson to get a foot on. For now, it's being ruled as an own goal.
Divock Origi then made it 3-0 to Liverpool just seconds after with a clinical finish after finding himself 1 on 1 with Claudio Bravo.
Liverpool have looked more than capable of hanging with Barcelona, who most say is one of if not the best team in the world. The Reds have kept possession well and have looked dangerous in the attack all match long.
It'll be interesting to see how Liverpool carry this form into the season, which starts in just one week.
