Steven Gerrard turns back the clock with this goal for LA Galaxy

To say it's been rough going for Steven Gerrard in MLS would be an understatement. Since moving to the LA Galaxy from Liverpool last year, he has struggled mightily to adjust to his new team. Fans and media alike have been highly critical of his lack of an impact and struggles.

However, Stevie G his showing signs of life over the past few weeks. He's beginning to fit in with the Galaxy and his play on the field is improving. Two weeks ago he pulled off a patented Gerrard diagonal long ball that led to this amazing goal.

Now, this past weekend, he's gotten on the score sheet for the first time in 2016. In the dying minutes of the Galaxy's 5-2 stomping of Real Salt Lake, the former Liverpool captain waltzed through the RSL defense with ease and finished to cap off a great night for his team. It wasn't a wondergoal by any means, but it's a good sign that there's still some life in the legendary midfielder.
