Athletes support charity causes all the time. Whether is cancer research or some other good cause, pro athletes give back to the community with their time and money.
Liverpool's goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is no different. During the international break back in his home country of Belgium, he is involved in a charity campaign to raise money for ALS research. While raising money for a great cause is no laughing matter and should always be taken seriously, we can help but be taken back by the awkward ad campaign that the goalkeeper is involved in:

"Simon Mignolet's Finest Fruits" is the endeavor that the Liverpool man has put his face on to raise money for this terrible disease. He should be commended for his efforts in this charitable cause. The promotional photo of him saving fruit is just a tad bit humorous, however.
