The Brazilian’s left-footed strike rang off one post, ricocheted to the other post and finally bounced into the goal to give Liverpool the lead at the break.
It’s been a surprisingly even half with Stoke City playing very well to begin the half, but Liverpool have roared back to earn the advantage.
