Did I say this one could get ugly fast? Well, it’s already headed that way. Emre Can has extended the Liverpool lead over Watford to 3-0 in the first half with a header at the far post:
It was a brilliant ball from Adam Lallana to find the German wide open at the far post. He made no mistake with his finish leaving Costel Pantillimon with no chance. At this rate, Liverpool could easily score six or seven on the day as Watford are failing to amount any sort of threat in the attack and are too busy trying to get the ball over midfield and past the high pressure.
It’s been a completely dominant first half by the Reds. Jurgen Klopp has to be quite pleased with this performance so far. How many can they score?
