After assisting on Liverpool’s first goal of the match against Watford, Philippe Coutinho has taken matters into his own hands to give them their second. As he’s done so many times before, the Brazilian struck from outside of the box to double the Reds’ lead on the day.
Liverpool’s pressure in the midfield has been too much for Watford to handle. The inevitable turnover was quickly fed to Coutinho near the top of the box who took a brilliant first touch onto his right foot and smashed a low finish past the keeper for the second goal of the match. This one could get ugly fast.
