Surprise, surprise. LFC fans are not thrilled with the news that Raheem Sterling wants out of Liverpool. Like usual, they took to Twitter to voice their displeasure. These are some of the Tweets that caught our eye:
Honestly wouldn't mind us selling sterling he obviously doesn't want to play for us and hasn't been great all season #LFC
Sterling is like an accumulator with 1 game left that's not going your way...Probably best to cash out & get the money while we can #LFC
Pretty bored of the Sterling story now. Feels like it's going to be a long summer for LFC again. #modernfootball #soapopera #GreedySterling
Sterling is such a spoiled brat. He needs to do one ASAP, I'm amazed by some so-called true fans who don't mind being held to ransom #LFC
Everything that is right about LFC is encapsulated in our Captain! Everything wrong in Sterling! We're trying to hold on to the wrong man!
This whole issue with Sterling reminds me of other transfer windows with Suarez only this time it wont make a difference if he leaves #LFC
Let's be honest, Sterling hasn't developed at all this season, & has gone backwards. He's not as good as he thinks he is. #LFC
Some don't put the blame on Sterling:
Instead of LFC fans throwing abuse at Sterling, maybe it's time to start asking why no quality players sign and why players are leaving?
People should not be bitter towards Sterling. That bitterness should be channeled at FSG and Rodgers. That is where the problem lies!#LFC

If I were #Sterling I will do the same. Current owner and manager plus mediocre signings points to no success.

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher had some choice words for the youngster:
Here is @Carra23's take on the Raheem Sterling situation: http://t.co/3gKqU9jzP7 pic.twitter.com/71eEb9DwuT
James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo agrees with Carragher:
Carragher absolutely spot on about Sterling. A young player who has been very badly advised. #LFC
One fan decided to get creative in the event that Sterling leaves:
Well, that was easier than I expected pic.twitter.com/B5QB5SygyM
That's one way to do it.
