I'm not going to lie, I'd never heard of Sergi Canos until yesterday. I didn't even know he was owned by Liverpool. After seeing him score this goal yesterday while on loan at Brentford I'll never forget his name. The 18-year-old Spaniard signed with the Reds at 16 and was sent out to Brentford this season as most promising young players are to get first team minutes and grow as professionals.
This goal against Reading was a moment of individual brilliance that is very rare to see from such a young player.
He even surprised himself with how amazing of a goal it was.
"I can't believe the goal," he told Brentford's official website. "It wasn't me!
"I am so happy with the goal because it was to celebrate my loan extension. It was a big three points and the team needed the three points.
"[Bees manager] Dean Smith is always talking about what is next. I want to enjoy the present but everything is about what is coming next."
