Mario Balotelli is as polarizing of a figure in world football as we've ever seen. His natural talent is almost unfair. He has all the tools to become one of the best players in the world. Unfortunately, he's been unable to contain his massive personality to find a steady club situation for longer than a year or two.
Even with all the off-the-field controversies that surround Balo, he still has redeeming moments that make you like him. For example, this morning he tweeted out his love for Liverpool and their supporters:

He did not have to do this. He's with AC Milan on loan and doesn't owe Liverpool anything, really. He's received his fair share of abuse from fans for not producing on the field, among other things. But here he is praising Liverpool and the millions that support the club.
Balotelli may never change his silly antics, but we cannot help but root for the guy to eventually figure it all out and become the player he was supposed to be. Hopefully that day will come soon.
