There's not much to say apart from Philippe Coutinho has genuine world class talent. We've seen what that looks like over the past decade with former Liverpool players such as Xabi Alonso, Javier Mascherano, Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres, and Luis Suárez. Apart from the local lad who nearly left Liverpool twice, the rest left. Under Jürgen Klopp, however, there is a chance that the tide can change or at least be halted for now.
It is natural to worry about Coutinho's future, but after his man of the match performance yesterday, a top four finish is firmly within Liverpool's grasp. Just one more game to go. Klopp has a few top players to call upon, but none can hit the sublime heights of Liverpool's number ten. He played on the left of a midfield diamond and sparkled like one.
Just marvel at his performance in midfield; West Ham United had no answer to his trademark spells.
