According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Liverpool have submitted a bid for 25-year old French winger Kinglsey Coman. Coman, currently a Bayern Munich player, moved to Germany initially on loan from Juventus. In 2017, Bayern made the loan move permanent.

The rumour was backed up by Sport1, suggesting that Liverpool is indeed interested in signing Coman, and are in contact with his representatives, but Julian Nagelsmann is keen for him to extend his contract at Bayern Munich.

Coman has had moments of glory in his recent past, scoring the match-winning goal in 2020 against his old club Paris Saint-Germain to help Bayern Munich win the Champions League.
Yet, the Coman rumour has been met with puzzled responses from fans since Liverpool already has a few prolific wingers. Age is on his side since at 25 he has room to grow and make an impact, but he has had a questionable injury record, which is a particularly sore point with us at the moment.
Bayern are apparently in no rush to sell him however, despite whispers that Coman is ‘open to a new challenge’,
