According to a report from Spanish publication Fichajes, Borussia Dortmund are interested in Liverpool FC midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. In response, the club has set a €20 price tag.

Now, it’s always pretty rare for an English player to leave the Premier League, so we’re already treating the this rumour with a grain of salt, but there is some credence to the notion of the Ox moving on. Oxlade-Chamberlain has managed a mere 14 appearances across all competitions this term, with a single assist to his name. Despite poor midfield play at various points in the season, Klopp has rarely turned to him, and he seems to be firmly below Georginio Wijnaldum, Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago Alcantara, James Milner, Naby Keita as well as Curtis Jones in the pecking order.

Dortmund can count on Thomas Delaney, our old friend Emre Can, former Liverpool FC target Mahmoud Dahoud, future Liverpool FC target Jude Bellingham in midfielder, in addition to more-attacking minded midfield options like Julian Brandt and Giovanni Reyna, although Brandt is rumoured to be making a move this summer, with Arsenal linked. Such a move would perhaps create space for a direct midfielder like Ox. Maybe, Alex will be making a move this summer... I’m just not very convinced it’s going to be to Germany.
