There’s a good chance you’re not interested in where Liverpool’s forever-loaned Marko Grujic will end up next season. That’s understandable. We’ve barely seen him play in the red shirt. Grujic signed for Jürgen Klopp in January 2016 but was immediately loaned back to Red Star Belgrade until the following summer.

The Serbian midfielder spent a mostly-uneventful season and a half on Merseyside before heading to Cardiff City in January 2018. They really like him in Cardiff and we almost thought the player would sign for them but he returned to Liverpool that summer.

The two seasons since, Grujic has played his football in the Bundlesliga with Hertha Berlin. But the next transfer window could be the one where Liverpool can finally move him on.

A curious report out of Italy suggests the Reds have been shopping Grujic around in Serie A and that along with previous reported links to AC Milan and Lazio, the midfielder has recently been offered to Napoli.

Liverpool are said to want £22M for Grujic but might have to settle for a little more than half that sum if they truly want to part ways.
