The transfer window remains open in Europe, and Daniel Sturridge has taken his time considering which club to commit his future to. After being let go by the Reds earlier this summer, the former Liverpool attacker has had his fair share of suitors, despite his poor fitness record.

The rumours around his destination have seemed to settle on Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor. On Monday evening, a picture of Sturridge arriving at a local airport was posted on Twitter, which seems to confirm that the player is in the final stages of signing with the club.

Sturridge, still only 29-years-old, has reportedly been offered a two year contract by the club, who have started their league season off with a draw. However, he has also been fielding offers from teams around the world, including Real Betis, Marseille, DC United, and Besiktas. Trabzonspor, however, have offered the best deal to the player to try and lure him to their side.

Sturridge will have a new home by the end of the month, and it appears ever more likely that it’ll be in Turkey.
