Emre Can has put all contract negotiations on hold until the end of the season and, as a result of that, Juventus are worried. Or at least TuttoSport think they are, with the Italian outlet suggesting Juventus are now concerned they could be overtaken in the race for his signature.
Can won’t be making a decision in the next couple of months, but that doesn’t mean clubs aren’t in contact with his agent given he’s been free to negotiate and sign a pre-contract since the start of 2018, and TuttoSport claim there has been recent contact from multiple others.
They believe that Real Madrid, Monaco, and Bayern Munich have all been in touch, checking in with Can’s people in an effort to determine how much he’d cost them in the summer. Plus there remains a chance that in the end of it all Can will chose not to leave Liverpool.
And regardless of whether any of that is true—or if the enquiries of a club like Madrid or Bayern, if they’re even real, actually have a chance of leading to a firm offer—while Can hasn’t signed with Juventus the uncertainty itself is cause for concern for the Serie A giants.
Juventus, though, do still want to sign Can. That much is certain according to the Italian outlet. And, on the Liverpool end, the club appears to have not given up entirely on the German international having a change of heart and remaining. More than that right now isn’t certain.
