Outgoings. Expect quite a few today. On loan. Permanently. Ryan Kent made a strong impression during pre-season, but the imminent arrival of the versatile Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and the options already available to Jürgen Klopp may limit Kent’s potential minutes even further. A loan move is on the cards, but unfortunately for Kent, Hannover will not be the destination.
Hannover trainer Horst Heldt described Togolese forward, Ihlas Bebou, as the club’s "last transfer" on deadline day. The deadline for Bundesliga clubs is 5PM BST/12PM EST so there isn’t as much time to see if matters change on that front. Kent has qualities out wide that would serve a number of Premier League and Bundesliga clubs with his pace, trickery, and appetitie for taking players on.
Middlesbrough have been linked with a move for Kent, but maybe the 20-year-old will look higher than the Championship after his exploits at that level for Barnsley last season.
