Liverpool's 20-year-old winger Sheyi Ojo may not have a role to play at Anfield this season, but that doesn't mean he isn't in high demand, with no less than five Championship clubs rumoured to be courting his signature. With Liverpool willing to loan him to any of them, the decision is now in Ojo's hands.
Derby County and Fulham are currently rumoured to be the frontrunners, though Birmingham City, Aston Villa, and previous favourites Middlesbrough remain in the mix. Premier League suitors Newcastle, though, are no longer a possible destination for Ojo for the coming season, on loan or otherwise.
The end result of all that should mean that, wherever Ojo ends up, he is sure to be valued by the manager and to see regular minutes at the Championship level, while at Liverpool Jürgen Klopp remains bullish on the player and believes that he has a future at the club—even if he would struggle to see this pitch this season.
Previously, Ojo has spend time on loan with Wigan and Wolves. In his three seasons since making his senior debut, he has made 43 total appearances and scored four goals—with three of those coming during his loan spell with Wolves, where he made 19 appearances in his most successful spell to date.
