For those of you looking for pictures of leaning this morning, I’m sorry but I have some disappointing news: you’ll have to wait a couple more days.
The word around the campfire is that Roma winger Mohamed Salah is not yet on Merseyside, but is expected to be at Melwood tomorrow for his medical and to complete the move to Liverpool. Perhaps he wanted to spend a couple days in London first (sure, enjoy some nice meals, perhaps a play, just, you know, stay away from other football teams, please and thank you).
Although the exact number is unknown as of yet, widespread reports yesterday indicated that Roma and Liverpool came to an agreement which should break the incoming transfer record for the Reds. Some outlets put that number as high as £39 million, but The Echo is quick to point out that this number includes add-ons based on future performance.
As of now, this does not appear to be a reason to panic. Liverpool are still expected to officially announce Salah as the newest Red by the end of the week.
