Rumour Mongering: Coutinho Doesn't Want PSG Move

Paris Saint-Germain is not the preferred destination for a player routinely linked with a move away from Anfield.

All day. Most days. Some days. The impact is different on all of us, but we are living in heady times where Philippe Coutinho being linked with a move away from Liverpool is just part of the regular news cycle when it comes to Merseyside's finest.

Does Coutinho want to stay at Liverpool beyond January or the end of the season? Probably not. Mere conjecture, of course, but Barcelona should still retain an interest in a very talented player. Kia Joorabchian tried to fulfil the desires of his client through all sorts of ways to no avail. Perhaps Jürgen Klopp grew tired of these antics and distractions to the extent where he sanctioned a sale, but FSG seemed to make a clear stance on not selling the club's most talented player.

Links, rumours, stories, and "info" still surround the future of Coutinho. Paris Saint-Germain, fresh from prising Neymar from Barcelona's complacent paws, are rumoured to be interested in another big Brazilian buy. Unfortunately for Neymar and company, Coutinho is not interested in a move. That's it. Barcelona-leaning Sport is the hot source so there is clearly no agenda there whatsoever.

Picture Coutinho pleading ever so innocently to Michael "Donatello" Edwards, Mike "Raphael" Gordon, Jürgen "Michelangelo" Klopp, and John "Leonardo" Henry not to turn him over to Shredder's nefarious Foot Clan over in Paris when Master Splinter awaits in Barcelona. The forces of darkness cannot be allowed to win when an innocent soul is in peril.

Slow news cycle? Yes, quite slow indeed.
