It is fair to say that most Liverpool fans missed RB Leipzig’s Champions League match against Porto. For one, it was played at the same time as Liverpool’s 7-0 win over a hapless Maribor. And to risk turning away from Liverpool’s match, even for a minute, was to risk missing a goal or three.

exciting match. Energy Drink walked out 3-2 winners on the night, moving into second place in the group behind a surprisingly strong Besiktas side.

Naby Keita, while not adding goals or providing assists, was a constant threat going forward, and fantastic at tracking back defensively. Seriously, watch this video and tell me you’re not having naughty dreams about him gegenpressing next season.
Although Keita did not, much to the internet’s surprise, have the jaw-dropping moment of skill on the night, he still put in a great performance. It is easy to see both why Jürgen Klopp was so eager to sign the exciting young midfielder, and why Energy Drink was so reluctant to sell.
