The Southampton-Liverpool Summer Express Train is back up and running, with Liverpool completing the transfer of a fifth Saint in three years with the fresh signature of Sadio Mané. Although the fee for the 24-year-old attacking midfielder is officially "undisclosed," it is believed to be around the £30 million mark.

The signing is hardly a shock, as Mané was spotted in Liverpool for a medical yesterday afternoon, had been linked to Liverpool off and on throughout the summer, and had apparently been the target of the transfer committee under Brendan Rodgers. Klopp has also has had a long-term interest in the player, having scouted him during his time at Red Bull Salzburg.
"Today is a big day and I am very happy to sign for one of the biggest clubs in Europe," Mané told Liverpoolfc.com. It's a club that has won a lot of trophies and has a big history. Now I am looking forward to meeting all the staff and my teammates and starting the season."
With preseason fast approaching, the timing is perfect for the exciting attacking talent to get up to speed in Klopp's system. I hope he enjoys the three training sessions per day.
Welcome to Liverpool, Sadio!
