Liverpool Transfer Rumours: PSG Star Linked to Liverpool Move

For Liverpool fans, the passage of time can be reliably counted by the nature of transfer rumours. The number of rumours increases as April approaches, but given the amount of time left before the transfer window re-opens, their reliability remains extremely low. It's a humorous time to be alive.

The latest from the rumour mill, straight out of the Metro, is a report that Liverpool will lodge a bid for PSG attacker Lucas Moura. The idea is that Jürgen Klopp will took to bolster his attack with players who fit his frenetic, full-throttle style. However, the Metro's source was a rabbit hole that eventually amounts to a vague listing of "UK news" as the birthplace of the rumour.

Still, the idea of Lucas coming to Liverpool, however unlikely it might be given the value PSG will place on him, is rather exciting. He's a stupid fast, highly skilled attacker who can play across the front line and has notched nine goals and eight assists this season. And somehow he's only 23 years old.

If Klopp were interested in spending big money on an attacker this summer, he could do a lot worse than Lucas. But as of now there is no indication that a move will actually take place.
