Ah, Christian Pulisic. It seems like just yesterday I was writing about how the transfer for the 18-year-old American teenage sensation wouldn’t be coming to Liverpool, when in fact it was two whole days ago. Now, in addition to Borussia Dortmund not wanting to sell, Liverpool reportedly must fend off interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
The German newspaper Bild, the same paper that reported Dortmund’s sporting director saying, “It’s not worth the effort for Liverpool” to attempt to sign Pulisic, are now reporting that he’s being linked with a move to PSG.
Liverpool pushed hard for Pulisic this summer, tabling an offer of £11.5 million for the youngster who was only 17-years-old at the time. That offer was declined, and some rumors are circulating that Liverpool would more than double that offer to secure a transfer in the January window.
With PSG allegedly sniffing around, it’s safe to assume that Pulisic is on the holiday shopping lists for many teams, even if Dortmund don’t appear that interested in selling their prized young asset. Stay tuned for more Pulisic rumors, possibly as soon as later today or tomorrow.
