It doesn't get much more official than a tweet from the club's Twitter account, does it?

Lloyd Jones has been on loan at Cheltanham since January 3rd, and has made four solid appearances for the League Two side since joining. With his original loan set to expire tomorrow, Cheltenham were eager to extend his stay considering the success they'd found with him in early days.
Jones is widely regarded as one of Liverpool's best defensive prospects, and the 19 year old center back earned 6 combined caps for England's U20's and U19's in 2014. Getting him experience at this point in his career and development is vital, and keeping him somewhere that allows him to play well will be big for him the rest of this season.
Jones' current deal runs out in 2016, but if he continues to impress during this loan spell, you can pretty much guarantee he'll be getting a new contract this summer.
