Klopp Target Unavailable Until Summer, Per Report

Since 19-year-old attacker Leroy Sané broke onto the scene at Schalke 04 last season, he's been tracked by the biggest clubs around Europe. The speedy winger offers more technical ability than most players his age and has been seen as a possible piece to reinforce Liverpool's play in wide areas midseason. However, the Daily Star now reports that Jürgen Klopp must wait until the summer to make a move for Sané.

Agent Jürgen Milewski has told Liverpool not to contact him about Sané during the upcoming January window, according to the Daily Star's report. This news is a bit strange considering agents are usually inclined to push players towards big money moves while it's the clubs that aim to shut down transfer rumours. Sané isn't in a rush though, and he will likely be in line for a bigger contract down the road if he chooses to wait on a move.

He doesn't yet have enough seasoning to be a likely Euro 2016 candidate for a crowded German squad, but he's already managed to impress manager Joachim Löw.

"Leroy's performances this year have been very impressive. I like the way he goes about his business. He's very clever at moving into space," said Löw. "He's incredibly quick, has the vision to create and scores a lot of goals himself. I see huge potential in him."

That all amounts to a player that would be quite tasty in a Klopp side, but whether Liverpool's manager chooses to pursue Sané remains to be seen.
