Vardy has burst onto the Premier League scene, scoring goals in his last seven Premier League matches with 10 goals overall. He's been rewarded for his hot play with four caps in the England international team in 2015.
Leicester City bought Vardy in 2012 for just £1 million and will now have to fight to hold onto him. He did just sign a new deal this summer that will last three more years, but it's unclear if that's enough to keep him at King Power Stadium long term. It's also unclear how much Leicester want in return for Vardy, who doesn't have much experience playing at the highest level.
Liverpool would be wise to show patience in its supposed pursuit of Vardy, as it seems to be a high-risk transfer endeavor if serious amounts of money are being discussed.
