Robbo a.k.a. our speedy Scotsman a.k.a. Andrew Robertson will be in contention for this weekend’s big clash against Chelsea. The star left-back picked up an ankle injury during pre-season. Scans showed that he sustained ligament damage, but it was declared to be a minor injury.

Jurgen Klopp confirmed that he would be available for Saturday’s game, speaking to liverpoolfc.com. “Robbo trained the whole week, of course he [is] in contention, no doubt about that”, Klopp said.

James Milner is still sidelined with an injury, Klopp added, saying, “Millie will not be ready – I think that’s it pretty much.

“All the rest trained and looked good and sharp – we should better be because obviously Chelsea is a tough one as well. That’s already kind of like the Champions League, just in the Premier League!”

He also mentioned that he expects an intense game against Thomas Tuchel’s side.

“Chelsea is obviously in a really good shape, they are full of confidence, won a Champions League last year and won the majority of the games they played since Tuchel is there”, he said.

“So, a really good manager having a top squad is always a good mix, a good recipe for a successful season – that’s Chelsea.

“But we play at home, we are in a good moment as well and we want to use that.”
