It will come as no surprise to anyone who has muddled through this season with Liverpool Football Club that Ozan Kabak is doubt for the upcoming, rescheduled Manchester United match. The Reds have had an ‘anything that can go wrong, will go wrong’ type of season, especially when it comes to their defense.

Kabak, brought in over the winter because Liverpool’s other center-backs were all injured, is now set to miss another game. He already sat out the Southampton match at the weekend, with Rhys Williams playing alongside Nat Phillips in his place. This time, despite the admiral job Williams did, it will likely be Fabinho pulled back into defense once again.

According to Paul Joyce, speaking on Sky, “With Millie, it’s not a big thing but I expect him back maybe next week or something like that.

“With Ozan, we don’t know exactly, we have to wait and see a little bit. It’s a muscle thing, it happened without any real intensity but still serious enough for not being involved. The same for Ben Davies.”

The rescheduled fixture is set to take place this Thursday evening at Old Trafford. A win for Liverpool would see them jump about West Ham and into fifth place, only three points off of the coveted top four.
