This may be the worst Liverpool season since 2014-15, but things aren’t all bad. For instance, Mohamed Salah still exists. And for a third season, the Egyptian superstar has notched 20 league goals for the Reds, making him the first Liverpool player to reach that landmark.
Inventing new records to break seems to be Salah’s favorite pastime. In addition to that, Salah is still very much in the running for the Golden Boot. Right now, he sits one goal behind Harry Kane in the race, though Salah has played in two more games than the Spurs leader.
The club knows that we all need a pick-me-up, and then provided by putting together a compilation video of all of Salah’s 20 goals, starting in the first match of the season and running all the way to the most recent match against Newcastle United.
In Salah’s four seasons with the Reds, he’s made 193 appearances and scored 122 goals, including 93 in the Premier League alone. I’m not great at math, is that good?
Salah’s next chance to score is when Liverpool travel to Old Trafford to take on rivals Manchester United this Sunday.
