Liverpool FC striker Roberto Firmino limped off the pitch and headed straight down the tunnel during last night’s 2-0 win against Atletico Madrid. Our number 9 had replaced Sadio Mane at half-time but only lasted about half an hour on the pitch.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Klopp has confirmed that it was a hamstring injury for Firmino, which means he will almost certainly miss Saturday’s clash with West Ham at the very least. It’s the international break after, so Bobby will have some time to heal up, although it certainly has to be frustrating since he spent the last break doing the same. Bobby has been somewhat troubled by hamstring injuries this season, the 30-year-old missed four games after sustaining a similar problem against Chelsea in August.

He has been in excellent form as of late, recently netting a hat-trick in the 5-0 thrashing of Watford. Liverpool’s injury list includes James Milner and Naby Keita, who are both sidelined with hamstring issues, Harvey Elliott who is still rehabbing from his ankle injury, and Joe Gomez (calf) and Curtis Jones (eye) who picked up injuries before the Atletico game.
