Really. Yes, really. I hope you enjoyed your break, because pre-season is officially upon us. While some of you might still be hungover from celebrating Liverpool’s Premier League win, the boys are back to work.
The team touched down in Austria on Saturday to begin their pre-season training.
The official site uploaded a video of the players arriving in a very scenic location this afternoon, if you’re interested in seeing that.
The camp kicked off with a light warm up, with the heavier work still to come. With so little time between the final game against Newcastle and now, and with very few changes to the team, one would think they’ll be able to fall right back into the swing of things.
The team said goodbye to long time mainstays Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren, while new fullback Kostas Tsimikas will get his first taste of training in Jürgen Klopp’s legendarily full throttle style.
We’re exactly two weeks away from Liverpool’s Community Shield match against Arsenal, so buckle up, folks.
