Rhian Brewster just can’t stop scoring. The young striker, on loan to Swansea in the Championship, has been on a tear since going to the Welsh team this winter. Brewster scored again, this time against Sheffield Wednesday. It was a smart, instinctive finish, taken with aplomb.
Brewster has now scored 7 goals in 15 games for Swansea (14 starts) since going on loan this winter. He’s scoring a goal every 180 minutes. That’s a goal every other game for the 20 year old.
While he has been playing as a point striker for Swansea, Brewster has been popping up all over the field as seen in the heatmap from Sofascore below.

The question now becomes what is the next step for the youngster? Rhian Brewster is a prodigious talent who has been assured by Jurgen Klopp and the Liverpool hierarchy that he is in their plans for the future.
Liverpool would probably prefer to loan Brewster out to a Premier League side next season to give him a chance for more regular minutes at the highest level. With the plans for Timo Werner falling through, however, Brewster may be putting himself in a position to compete with Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino for a regular spot on the bench and an occasional spot start.
