So you may have heard some talk about Timo Werner and Liverpool recently. Melissa Reddy credibly linked him to the club recently, while the player himself took it a step further.
.@TimoWerner: – Liverpool are the best team in the world at the moment, and when you're linked with that team, it makes me very proud.

Now he’s done it again. Werner certainly seems happy to talk about Liverpool right now.
“There’s one of the best managers in the world with Jurgen Klopp, and he is also German,” the Liverpool Echo report the RB Leipzig attacker as saying.
“Many things suggest that I would maybe fit in (at Liverpool) very well with my playing style.
”But I don’t think about that at the moment because we have so much to do with Leipzig.”
Speaking more specifically, Werner added that he“won’t rule out anything,” on his future. “We have the European Championship in the summer, I want to focus on that tournament.
“About everything else I will think after the season.”
Look, I’ve been a sceptic on this deal for a while. I still am to an extent. But there’s certainly smoke now. So let’s see where it goes.
