Jürgen Klopp certainly loves beautiful vistas as a backdrop for extended training sessions, and the squad has landed at another one in Evian, France where they will spend five days training. The location, Evian-Les-Bains, is a fancy spa town with ample, state of the art training facilities in South-Eastern France, where the players will finish up any last minute preparations before heading off the Dublin to play their next friendly against Napoli at the Aviva Stadium.
They will, one only presumes, be drinking a lot of Evian bottled water, taking selfies by Lake Geneva for Instagram, and also participating in several days of double training sessions.
The team will also be a step closer to completion, with some familiar and much-missed faces returning to the squad in Roberto Firmino and Trent Alexander-Arnold. New goalkeeper Alisson Becker will also join the team and make his debut. Klopp will surely take full advantage of the five days afforded to them before the next match to begin integrating the new and returning members of the team.
After their match against Napoli on Saturday, Liverpool will welcome Turino to Anfield on Tuesday, August 7th for their last friendly before the season officially begins.
