This week has been a bit shit. Last year was too, come to think of it. By the 12-year Chinese zodiac, 2017 was the Year of the Rooster (though feel free to switch that out for any other more appropriate synonyms for a male fowl).
It is a new year, and 2018 sees the return of the Year of the Dog. This should be my year, dammit, but the Fates so far are having a laugh. But I digress. Year of the Dog.
So, Liverpool Football Club, in a way that is totally not catering to the large Chinese market in the most cynical of ways, decided to release a promotional video wherein its stars (plus Danny Ings) test their dog training skills with some adorable furry friends.
In the video, Alberto Moreno, Loris Karius, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and the aforementioned Ingsy, go about getting their adopted canine friends to complete various doggie tasks.
Much like his mini-golf domination, there was only one winner in this video, the one and only Albi Moreno. Hopefully the embarrassment he caused his teammates this time is not so severe as to force one of the players to leave in shame. Again. (I’m pretty sure that’s what happened last time. Don’t correct me in the comments.)
Anyway, if you love Liverpool AND dogs, give the video a watch.
