After Jürgen Klopp declared that "best and nicest faces" of his Liverpool squad would be available to take on Sydney FC in pre-season, Australian fans must have been excited to get a chance to see Philippe Coutinho and other stars in action. After being called up to the Brazil squad to take on Argentina and Australia next month, the Brazilian magician will visit Australia twice this summer.

International duty in June and club duty in July will combine to provide a double serving of O Mágico. Brazil will play both friendlies at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday 9 June (Argentina) and Tuesday 13 June (Australia). Emre Can will be in action at the Confederations Cup next month, but these call ups are a sign of some of the quality that Liverpool possess.

It would be ideal if Liverpool players would be able to rest next month instead of having to travel across the world and play football, but it's part of their development as players. That Can turned 23 in January and Coutinho turns 25 next month serves as a reminder that these players are entering their prime years. This should be the time when they start to really shine on the international stage, and that's already happening for Liverpool's number ten.
