No English club has played more games this season than Liverpool, and with that heavy schedule load has inevitably come a handful of postponed and re-arranged games. Most recently, Liverpool’s home date with Everton was postponed due to the Reds’ participation in the Capital One Cup final.
A match against Chelsea also had to be postponed due to their FA Cup quarter final tie with Everton on March 12th. Both games have now been rescheduled as mid-week matches in weeks without European action and, barring anything unexpected, Liverpool now know when they will play their remaining games this season.
The home date with Everton is now set to be played on Wednesday, April 20th with an 8PM GMT kickoff. The match will be shown in England on Sky Sports. For Liverpool it follows a trip to face Bournemouth on the 16th and is followed by Rafa Benitez and Newcastle’s visit to Anfield on the following weekend.
Meanwhile, the Chelsea match will end up the penultimate game of the season for Liverpool and their final home game of the 2015-16 campaign, set for an 8PM GMT kickoff on Sky Sports on Wednesday, May 11th. A home match against Watford and the season finale, against West Brom on the road, are on either side.
If Liverpool make it through to the Europa League quarter-finals, they will be played on April 7th and April 14th. The semi-finals are set for April 28th and May 5th, and the final is on May 18th.
